Dr. Azad, DDS

Dr. Azad has been practicing dentistry since 1993 at Prince Frederick Dental Center. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Florida, Dr. Azad received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from University of Maryland Dental School in 1993.
In his spare time, Dr. Azad enjoys spending time with his wife, Behnaz, and two sons. He also enjoys traveling, playing basketball, watching movies, and drinking coffee.

Dr. Aalemansour, DDS

Dr. Aalemansour has been practicing dentistry at Prince Frederick Dental Center for over 20 years. His alma mater is Howard University, where he also spent his years of residency at the university’s hospital.

He is happily married to his wife Dr. Farnoush Jamali, who used to practice in Prince Frederick, Maryland. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Aalemansour loves spending time with his wife, daughter, and two sons.

Dr. Tahvildary, DMD

After graduating from University of Pennsylvania in 2000, Dr. Tahvildary moved to Maryland in 2005 and has been practicing at Prince Frederick Dental Center ever since.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons as well as traveling, gardening, and cooking.

Dr. Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Nguyen graduated with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland. She has had the pleasure of working at Prince Frederick Dental Center since 2010.

When she isn’t working, you can find Dr. Nguyen at the gym, enjoying the outdoors, or spending time with her family in her hometown.

Dr. Kafashzadeh, DMD

A graduate from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. Dr. Kafashzadeh followed his training with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Temple University, where he completed training in advanced implant dentistry, prosthodontics, oral surgery, root canals, and cosmetic dentistry. He brings passion, excellence, and uncompromising quality to all of his patients. He enjoys providing healthier mouths and improved smiles for his patients as he is a big believer that oral health and overall health are intertwined. He is an active member of several organizations with focus on higher standard of care. He is proactively involved in the community through multiple initiatives.

In his spare time, Dr. Kafashzadeh enjoys spending time with his wife and his family. He is an avid traveler and enjoys watching movies and playing basketball.

 


 

Dr. Núñez, DDS

Having graduated from University of Michigan School of Dentistry in 2014 with both her DDS and PhD degrees. After practicing in Kalamazoo, Michigan for one year, Dr. Nunez decided to complete a two-year General Practice Residency at Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The program provided advanced clinical training on restorative, cosmetic, surgical, and implant dentistry.

Dr. Nunez grew up in Bowie, Maryland and having to move back to the area, she has been able to spend more time with her family, husband, and their dog. Dr. Nunez is also fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Masciantonio (Retired as of September 16, 2022)

Dr. Masciantonio has been treating patients of the Prince Frederick area for over 30 years, and it is with a grateful heart that we announce he is retired and living life in the sunshine state!

Dr. Tamim (Oral Surgeon)

Dr. Ahmed Tamim, DDS, MD is a dual-degree, board-eligible Oral Maxillofacial and cosmetic surgeon. He graduated from NYU College of Dentistry with OKU honors (omicron kappa upsilon) after earning his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree. He then attended Louisiana State University in Shreveport , LA where he earned his medical degree (MD) and then completed his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery training. Dr. Tamim then completed a Full-body and Facial Cosmetic Surgery fellowship in Oklahoma. Dr. Tamim is always researching new innovative surgical techniques to apply in his practice. He co-authored a book chapter titled “Cleft Lip and Palate Patient Rhinoplasty.” And published an article in The American Journal of Cosmetic Surgery titled “Temporomandibular Joint Reconstruction with Simultaneous Deep Plane Rhytidectomy: A Case Report.”

When not at work, Dr. Tamim loves spending time and traveling with his wife and daughters. He is also a professional bridge player. Dr. Tamim loves playing soccer and is a huge Chelsea club fan.

 


 

Dr. Julia (Endodontist)

Dr. Julia was born and raised in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She graduated from the University of Arkansas before attending the University of Missouri – Kansas City School of Dentistry. She participated in the Senior Departmental Advanced Studies Program in Endodontics at UMKC and earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2014. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Julia furthered her education by completing a one-year general practice residency at Wellspan York Hospital in York, Pennsylvania. She completed her post doctorate specialty training in endodontics at the University of Illinois – Chicago college of Dentistry. She also earned her Master’s Degree in Oral Sciences and did extensive research on the post-operative healing outcomes with prophylactic antibiotics following surgical endodontic treatment.

Dawn Rose, RDH

Dawn graduated from Baltimore City Community College’s dental hygiene program in 1996 and started working part-time at Prince Frederick Dental Center that same year. Six months later, Dawn was offered a full-time position and has remained with PFDC for 25 years. Dawn enjoys the office’s relaxed yet professional atmosphere, which she finds helps to calm patients and ease their dental experience.

Rhonda Tuzzio, RDH

Rhonda has been a practicing dental hygienist since 1979, with over 40 years of experience. She has been working at Prince Frederick Dental Center since 2001 and enjoys the friendly yet professional environment. A Maryland native, Rhonda graduated from Allegany College in Cumberland, MD. Outside of work, Rhonda enjoys baking, reading, and is a lifelong Baltimore Orioles fan. She is also the proud mother of two sons, Ryan and Travis.

 


 

Mandy Pollitt, RDH

Mandy graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2010 with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She joined Prince Frederick Dental Center in 2011, where she has been dedicated to improving patients’ oral hygiene and educating them about dental health. A Calvert County native, Mandy enjoys spending her free time cheering on the Washington Commanders and cherishing moments with her husband and four children.

 


 

Sherri Welch, RDH

Sherri graduated from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene. With over 20 years of experience in various dental specialties including pediatrics, periodontics, and patients with special needs, Sherri has been with Prince Frederick Dental Center since 2015. She enjoys the lasting relationships she has developed with her patients while helping them achieve better oral health and educating them on the importance of maintaining a healthy smile.

In her personal time, Sherri enjoys being on the water, traveling, and engaging in home décor or renovation projects with her husband and two boys.

 


 

Nicole Williams, RDH

Nicole joined the Prince Frederick Dental Center team in May 2013 after earning her Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Frostburg State University and her Dental Hygiene Degree from Allegany College of Maryland. Upon graduation, she received the “Outstanding Clinician Award” from the Upper Potomac Dental Hygienists’ Association. Nicole is deeply committed to the oral health of her patients and strives to make each dental visit efficient, relaxing, and educational for her patients.

 


 

Ellie Stickley, RDH

Ellie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene from Old Dominion University, graduating summa cum laude in 2016. She has been working at Prince Frederick Dental Center since her graduation, initially as a temporary hygienist, and became a full-time member of the team in 2018. Ellie is passionate about dental hygiene and strives to make her patients feel comfortable and valued during their appointments.

In her free time, Ellie enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, hiking, and caring for her two cats.

 


 

Sheri Kaylor, RDH

Sheri has been a dental hygienist since 1994, after graduating from Allegany College of Maryland with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She began working part-time at Prince Frederick Dental Center in 2017 and transitioned to a full-time role in 2024. In her free time, Sheri enjoys reading and spending time with her family. She is a valuable addition to our team.

 


 

Kim Duehring, RDH

Kim graduated from Allegany College of Maryland in 2019 with an Associate’s Degree in Dental Hygiene. She began practicing full-time in a small private office and joined our practice in 2020, initially as a part-time hygienist before transitioning to full-time in 2022. Kim enjoys getting to know her patients and helping them feel at ease in her care. In her free time, she can be found tending to her flower garden and enjoying outdoor activities.
